Wren House was opened by HRH the Duke of Gloucester in 1987 in order to accommodate an influx of girls to the school.  Originally situated in a building near the main entrance, now Lugard, Wren has been re-estgablished in the square at the left hand side of the archway.  It currently houses 20 sixth form girls.

There are 18 single bedrooms on the second floor, 8 double bedrooms and one big study. Every room contains a bed with drawers, a wardrobe, drawers, a desk and a bookshelf.  There are two bathrooms on the south side of the top corridor, one containing toilets and basins and the other showers in separate cubicles.  There is a bath and separate toilet at the extreme northern end of this corridor.

On the third floor is a comfortable living room with a television set and DVD player and 2 kitchenettes equipped with a kettle, microwave oven, hotplate, fridge-freezer, and toaster.  Ther also three rooms on this floor currently being used as studies.  The ground floor consists of an office, a large dayroom for entertaining visitors, a music room with a piano, changing rooms, showers and toilets as well as 5 single studies.
