Rossall is situated on the picturesque coastland of Lancashire in the North West of England, in the small fishing village/town of Fleetwood. Rossall is less than an hour from Manchester and Liverpool’s international airports, and enjoys excellent road, rail and air transport links with the rest of the country.
The North West region of Britain is steeped in cultural and natural heritage, with the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks close by. Closer to home, the small town of Cleveleys and Poulton are nearby and include banks, food shops, clothes shops, entertainment stores, restaurants and a cinema complex. The larger holiday resort of Blackpool, is a 10 minute tram ride away.
In general, temperatures in Lancashire are only one – two degrees centigrade cooler than the South of England. Our coastal position, however, does mean that Rossall is subjected to a rather windy climate during the winter months.
