Anchor News 2009 -2010

We have got off to a rollicking good start to the term! Unbowed by the promotion of Year 9 boarding back into the Senior Houses there has been a tremendous enthusiasm from all our boarders to get involved with all the things that we have going on.

During the first 3 weeks of term, we have had shopping trips into Cleveleys, a House barbeque, several big screen movies, a bowling trip to Preston, a sandcastle building competition in glorious sunshine on the beach, and a trip to The Sandcastle Water Park in Blackpool (the UKs largest indoor water park!). Next up: Alton Towers!

We have also had a thorough selection process to appoint our new House Captains, and I am pleased to say that the Anchor Captains for this year are Lauren Briscoe and Hermes Olugbo, with Thao Ha and Bernard Au as their deputies.
