Rossall International Celebrations
Once a year Rossall students celebrate the diversity of our community.
Thursday 14th October
At lunch, after admiring the flags of the nations represented at our school, we enjoy recipes from different countries; African, Spanish, French, Russian, and German et al.
.
After tea the House Teams meet in the Nursery Hall to compete in an International Quiz with prizes on offer for the winning teams which each consist of 8 students.
Friday 15th October
Students pay £1 for the privilege of wearing their national costumes; then after tea the Farrell society will celebrate the unity of our cultures with students presenting fables and folk Tales for their homelands. We all taste each other’s speciality food and drink as well.
Saturday 16th October
All students from year 10 to 13 are invited to come together for a disco in Big School to dance together and socialise with each other. 7pm to 11pm.
