Girls' Football Club

Girls Football
report by Annabelle Ollington-Hayes

Girls’ football club is a new club run by Miss Clapp on a Thursday. It’s a chance to let people have fun with their friends even when they are being competitive.

.

We have been taught all the positions and rules so we can have a really good match. It’s also fun to play something other than hockey and netball, our main sports

International Club

On Wednesday afternoons some of the overseas senior students go across to Junior School to help with International Club. So far we have tested our geographical knowledge of the world, and we have started learning a few simple words and phrases in other languages.

The younger pupils are very keen, and the senior girls enjoy adopting a big sister role!

Last week we ate moon cake to celebrate the Chinese mid-autumn festival, and this week we have learnt the names of colours in Russian.

Sewing club

Sewing Club

This has become a popular lunchtime activity.  Miss Talbot reports that the pupils are creating "ugly dolls" and are having a fantastic time.

.

Their little creatures are coming along quite nicely and are so ugly they are completely adorable.

Art Attack

Halloween came to Art Attack Club this week! The children made some super bats that were flying on bouncy string! We have made all sorts so far from desk tidies to frisbees.
