Breaking News!
LADIES HOCKEY CLUB
COME ON MUMS, AUNTS, GRANDMAS, OR OLD GIRLS!
This year the Rossall ladies league hockey team has opened its doors to any lady who is connected in any way to the school, either former pupil or related to a current pupil. Fixtures are played on a Saturday after lunch and training each Wednesday from 6.45 – 8.00pm on the new Astroturf at Rossall. New members would be made very welcome and would be treated very gently for the first few weeks. The club will be run by Emma Williams (PE Department).
Anyone who holds a Level 2 Hockey coaching award and/or a Level 1 umpiring award, and would like to help, or take the training, please contact Emma Williams via school reception.

Can you help Mrs Lee?
Photos
Are you a parent who support our teams from the touch line or at any event, and takes digital photographs? If you do and the picture is clear, close up and an action shot, please could we have a copy? There are many occasions when we would love to take photos but just don't have an extra pair of hands. If possible, email no more than 2 photos to Mrs Morris on j.morris@rossall.org.uk .
Illness - Day pupils
We would like to remind parents of the following protocol.
Any child who is unwell, or has a high temperature/fever should not be sent to school. Children who become ill while at school should be sent home as soon as possible.
It is recommended that children who have had a fever should not return to school until their temperature has returned to normal for at least 24 hours.
The Medical Centre does not have the facility to care for sick day pupils throughout the day, and any risk to other members of school should be minimised.
Medication will not normally be administered at school, unless parental consent has been given. This is based on current recommendations from the Health Protection Agency, and the Medical Officer for Schools Association. Any specific queries should be addressed to the School Nurse
We want to hear from you!
