Unit of Enquiry:  Rights for Every Child

The central idea of this unit is to recognise that we all have rights, roles and responsibilities that help to make the world a more equal place.

We have learned about participation in our Children's Rights and made a presentation talking about what we have learned.

Lewis read:

"In English this week, we have learned about a boy called Charles Senyange.  Hi lives in Uganda, in the capital, Kampala,  What we found out about his life made me sad.  We all wrote a news report about him."

Dear Zoo by Rod Campbell

In our French class this week we have been looking at the French names of some house pets.

We wrote our own story based on "Dear Zoo" by Rod Campbell.
