Students normally study 3 A-Levels which is the basic requirement for a UK university place. These three major subjects form the core of a student’s programme of study and are followed over two years. Each A-Level is split into two distinct halves, termed “advanced Subsidiary (AS)” and “A2”. Teaching time for each AS and A2 subject is four and a half hours per week.
