As in Senior School, Sixth Form pupils will receive pastoral care and support from within their single sex Houses in The Square. Each of the Senior School houses is run by a Houseparent who is supported by a set of House Tutors.
The Houseparents are responsible for the running of each House and for the establishment of pupil care through an efficient daily routine. Deputies and House Tutors are appointed to share these duties. All House staff are responsible to the Headmaster for the well-being of all pupils both boarding and day. The Senior Teacher Pastoral oversees the system and together with the Headmaster holds regular meeting with the House staff to coordinate policy.
Every effort is maintained to create suitable pupil balance within them: this means a boarding house may well contain a few day pupils in certain year groups.

In addition to the pastoral care provided by the Senior Teacher: Pastoral, Houseparents and Tutors, all pupils have access to our School Chaplain, Reverend Stephen Cooper.
