Art is offered to offer pupils at all stages of their education. At Sixth Form, pupils have the opportunity to take courses from the widest art and design curriculum currently offered in Lancashire via out BTEC National Diploma in Design, it is also offered as an A-Level and as part of the International Baccalaureate Diploma.
The art and design facilities include three well-equipped studios, gallery space, workshop, computer room and classroom. In addition to teaching time, pupils have access to the art department until 5.15 p.m. every night. Also trips to off-campus museums and galleries are integrated into the curriculum.
