CCF Navy Section

Cadets in the Navy section get a lot of contact with the Royal Navy through the activities they take part in. Cadets will learn sailing skills, ship recognition, command tasks and navigation through a carefully managed mixture of classroom and practical tuition. These are then put to test through opportunities such as field days and camps through out the year.
Navy section cadets also learn survival skills like field cooking, as well as being taught to cope with emergencies that could occur out to sea.
Finally, command tasks and exercises are another essential part of the Navy cadet’s training to improve their leadership abilities.
